Maintains a tight voltage range for sensitive equipment as the battery goes through is charge and discharge cycle (i.e. the voltage on the 12V battery goes from as low as 10V to as high as 15V DC). Great to use on electronics that can be powered directly from 12V DC but need the voltage to be stable and exactly 12V. Can handle up to 30W of load.
