SolarMount Rail Sets

 

 

SolarMount's third-generation extruded aluminum rail is the most versatile yet. Sets include rails (model no. = length of rails in inches), L-feet, and hardware to attach feet to rails.

2-Rail Kits and 4-Rail Kits - Each kit mounts a single row of modules and consists of rails plus L-feet and hardware to attach feet to rails. Rail lengths over 226" require the 4-Rail Kits. (Series 3002xx)

Use Pro-Pak components when regularly using SolarMount on multiple installations. Pro-Pak Bundles do not include L-Feet or hardware. (Series 3001xx)

Flush Mount

Install an array flush to a roof or other mounting surface. Modules can be mounted high profile (long sides horizontal, rails parallel to rafters), low profile (short ends and rails perpendicular to rafters), or a combination of both. Optional accessories handle special circumstances, such as Spanish tile or an uneven roof.

High Profile Tilt Legs

High profile orientation maximizes module density in a given site area on the ground or on a flat or pitched roof. Tilt angle depends on leg length and rail length. High profile legs are not recommended for rails longer than 180 inches, and are never used with spliced rails.

Low Profile Tilt Legs

Low profile orientation minimizes the vertical height of your array— to hide an array behind a parapet, for example. You can also optimize tilt angle on a pitched roof to maximize system performance. Tilt angle depends on leg length and the make and model of your PV modules.
